Oklahoma Butterflies

The Butterflies of the World Foundation is based out of central Oklahoma.  We give many presentations and butterfly photography expeditions in our home state.  So, to make it easier for butterfly enthusiasts to look up information of our state butterflies, we’ve added this list.  There have been 194 species documented in Oklahoma.  Some of these show up rarely within our borders, and we don’t have photographic coverage of all of them.  Clicking on the ones that we have coverage of will take you to that species page.  For a detailed, by county list, click here.
